A public lecture was organized for the local community members titled: "Preservation of the Early Islamic Bath Complex in Al Muwaqqar," as part of the efforts to achieve the goals of documenting and restoring the Islamic Bath Complex in Al Muwaqqar. This aimed at sustaining cooperation with the local community and raising awareness about the significance of the site and the necessity to preserve it as part of Jordan's heritage. The project team, under the supervision of Dr. Oliver Bils, representing the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) at the Faculty of Archaeology and Tourism, and Dr. Rabee Saesa'a, Head of the Department of Cultural Resources Management and Conservation, organized the public lecture. It took place on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Al Muwaqqar Municipality. The lecture was attended by the esteemed administrators of the Al Muwaqqar Municipality, along with directors, employees, and retired military personnel from the local community. Also in attendance were teachers from Al Muwaqqar schools and students from the School of Archaeology and Tourism at the University of Jordan who participated in the project.
