Course Description :

The course includes teaching an introduction to archaeology as a discipline, its development, its relations with other fields of knowledge, the history of researches in Jordan and Palestine, and methods of discovering ancient sites. In addition, the course includes different methods of surveying and the procedures of an excavation such as preparing, digging, documenting, classifying and analyzing, and publishing the discoveries of artifacts and architecture.
