Bachelor of Cultural Resources Management and Conservation / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

​Intended learning outcomes

Student by the end of this program shall be able to:

Knowledge and Understanding

1- The basic terms, definitions and principles of cultural heritage management and conservation.

2- Evaluation of cultural heritage and its dimensions, the principle of multiculturalism and the unity of human values

3- Interdisciplinary between CRM, Archaeology and Tourism.

 

Intellectual, cognitive and analytical skills

1- Logical analysis and building causal relationships

2- Methodology and comprehensiveness in thinking and implementation

3- Creating and Sustaining a Culture of environment and public safety, and the culture of sustainable development

 

Practical Skills

1.     Use of methods and technologies concerning cultural heritage management and conservation

2.     Use of the natural science in archaeology and heritage applications.

3.     How to collect and analyze data.

 

Transferable Skills

1- Critical thinking to resolve special issues related to the protection of cultural heritage.

2- Accuracy in the designing and implementation of projects related to historic buildings rehabilitation and its presentation.
