As part of the efforts of the School of Archaeology and Tourism to enhance the skills of its students and provide them with the necessary tools to excel in the job market, the school organized a training workshop for internship students in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management entitled: "Microsoft Office Applications: Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint," presented by Dr. Muna Al-Slaihat and Ms. Lubna Hijawi.
The workshop focused on teaching students how to use the various tools and features in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint, including:
- Microsoft Word: Editing and formatting text, creating official documents, and using different templates to facilitate work.
-Microsoft PowerPoint: Creating professional presentations, adding visual effects and charts, and effectively presenting them.
The workshop aimed to:
- Enhance students' skills in using Microsoft Office programs.
- Provide students with the technical abilities needed to prepare documents and presentations professionally.
- Enable students to apply what they have learned in their academic and professional lives.
Several students from different academic levels participated in the workshop, expressing their appreciation for organizing such workshops that help them develop their practical and technical skills. The workshop concluded with an interactive session to answer students' questions and inquiries, where they showed great enthusiasm for applying what they had learned in their future academic and professional projects.
