"A Story in Pictures" is a photo exhibition opening as part of the centennial celebrations of the state.

School of Archaeology and Tourism at the University of Jordan holds a photo exhibition and honors a group of its faculty and administrative members.

As part of the University's celebrations for the centennial of the state, Dr. Amer Salman, the Vice President of the University of Jordan for Planning, Development, and Financial Affairs, opened the exhibition "A Story in Pictures" on behalf of its president. The exhibition, organized by the School, includes an archive of its activities and events.

Dr. Nada Al-Rawabdeh, the School's Dean​, praised the efforts of the museum workers and the faculty since its establishment, commending their achievements that have made the museum a destination for many experts and enthusiasts in archaeology. She also highlighted their contribution to the discovery of numerous archaeological sites in Jordan and the preservation of national heritage.

Salman also honored a group of current and former faculty and administrative members of the college who contributed to its development and advancement during its stages of evolution. This included individuals who held prestigious administrative positions alongside a group of students for their academic and practical excellence.

The honorees included Prof. Dr. Zaidan Kafafi, the former President of Yarmouk University, Dr. Asim Al-Barghouti, the first Director-General of the National Museum, the late Dr. Safwan Al-Tall, the former Director-General of Antiquities, Dr. Suleiman Al-Farjat, the President of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Authority, Dr. Ismail Abu Amoud, the Commissioner of the Protected Area and Tourism Management at the Petra Development Authority, Prof. Dr. Latif Khalil, the first Dean of the Institute of Archaeology, and Prof. Dr. Maysoon Al-Nahar, the Editor-in-Chief of the Jordanian Journal of History and Archaeology.
