I am pleased to welcome you to the School of Archeology and Tourism at the University of Jordan, which was established to be a center of excellence in teaching tourism, archeology and heritage, offering three undergraduate programs in Tourism Management, Archeology, and Cultural Resources Management, and M.A in Archaeology. The school has a number of museums and laboratories that aim to develop our students’ skills according to the labor market needs.
The school has a group of distinguished academics and researchers who contribute to the teaching and research efforts. The school has also built fruitful partnerships with different stakeholders in the field of tourism, archaeology and heritage to enhance the internship and training opportunities provided for our students.
The school is working on developing new academic programs on both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Some of these programs will be launched in partnership with the school of fine arts and the school of foreign languages.
We are also working on improving the quality of our programs by obtaining the international accreditation certificates and we are pleased that our tourism management program is ranked among the top 100 programs on the global level according to the QS ranking.
