The archaeological excavation project in the ancient city of Jerash for the year 2018 is based on training students from the Department of Archaeology at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the fields of field training, excavation methods, and techniques. The team working in the ancient city of Jerash is making significant efforts under the supervision of the head of the Department of Archaeology, Dr. Adnan Al-Shayeb. Through monitoring the progress of the project, it is expected that these efforts will yield valuable results in terms of the artifacts and discoveries that will emerge.
