Students of the Faculty of Archaeology and Tourism, along with the Hungarian delegation, visited Petra.

our Students , accompanied by a delegation from Pazmany Peter Catholic University in Hungary, welcomed an academic delegation as part of the Erasmus+ program, focusing on cooperation with European universities. The meeting included welcoming the delegation members and discussing opportunities for academic collaboration in the fields of archaeology, heritage, and tourism.

During the meeting, the schedule of lectures and visits arranged for the guest delegation throughout the week was discussed. Last Friday, Dr. Ismail Abu Aamoud, the Vice Dean, along with the Hungarian guests, visited the ancient city of Petra and Wadi Rum. The visit included a comprehensive tour of all archaeological sites within Petra, where students and guests enjoyed the atmosphere characterized by clear integration between them and the components of the place, reflecting the main goal of the program.

The visit concluded with a trip to Wadi Rum, where some time was spent before heading back to Amman.

It's worth noting that the Hungarian delegation's partnership with the college is through the Erasmus+ project.
