"The University of Jordan honors its distinguished scholars who were ranked among the top 2% of researchers in the world.

School of Archaeology and Tourism congratulates Professor Dr. Mamoun Alan and Professor Dr. Ziyad Al-Rawadieh from the Department of Tourism Management at the Faculty of Archaeology and Tourism for their recognition as outstanding researchers at the University of Jordan. This recognition comes in appreciation of their scientific and research efforts across various fields and their contributions through distinguished scientific research published in international scientific and research journals. We extend our warmest congratulations to them, wishing them continued success and prosperity.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Wajih Owais, and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Jordan, Dr. Adnan Badran, along with members of the Board of Trustees, former presidents of the University of Jordan, vice presidents of the university, honorary professors, and deans of colleges. The honor was bestowed upon 35 researchers from the faculty who were ranked among the top 2% of researchers in the world according to the Stanford University ranking and the most influential researchers, in addition to researchers listed in the Stanford and Clarivate lists, and researchers from various specialties at the university who have received the most citations for their research in the past five years in the Scopus database.
