Strategies and methods of
teaching and evaluation
Intended learning outcomes are
developed through the following teaching activities and strategies:
1-Through the introduction of issues
and archaeological topics and discussing them within the frameworks and methods
of modern archaeology.
2-Through writing research papers
and reports through which the student can highlight his knowledge and understanding
of archaeological topics.
3-Through written examinations
conducted during the semester.
4-Participating in the field work
both in excavations and archaeological surveys.
5-Through the openness of the
student to other cultures and civilizations, whether through field projects or
through the Internet.
These ILOs can be assessed through
the following methods:
- Through examinations, writing
reports and field research according to the university regulations and
instructions.
- Through discussions and dialogue
among faculty members regarding the academic program and the recommendations
they propose.
- Through surveying the local
market, whether in the field of archaeology or other sectors related to the
specialization and their satisfaction with the effectiveness and performance of
graduate students working for them.
