On October 31, 2024, School of Archaeology and Tourism organized an exceptional training workshop for students in the Department of Tourism Management. The workshop, titled "Contract Formulation Between Hotels and Travel Agencies," was aimed at enhancing students' practical skills in the tourism and hospitality industry.
The workshop was led by Ms. Safa Al-Samhouri, a graduate of the Department of Tourism Management and the current Reservations Manager at Coral Tower Hotel. Ms. Al-Samhouri discussed key principles and professional practices that tourism and hospitality specialists should follow when drafting contracts between hotels and travel agencies.
The focus of the workshop was on how to create solid contracts that meet the needs of all parties involved, managing booking terms, and delivering hotel services according to the agreed specifications.
This workshop provided a valuable opportunity for our students to gain hands-on experience and direct insights from industry experts, helping them build a strong knowledge base in preparation for the job market.
