The conference concluded its eleventh session, held in Lyon, France, from November 10-15, 2025, focusing on the Neolithic period. Professor Dr. Maysoun Al-Nahar participated, along with her Master's students, Ru'a Othmaneh and Zainab Huwaij. Dr. Al-Nahar presented a paper titled "Flint Tools in the Burial Area of Tell Abu Suwan," while Ru'a presented a poster on flint cores at Tell Abu Suwan, discussing their technique and classification. Zainab Huwaij also presented a paper on "Flint Sickles at Tell Abu Suwan." The papers and posters were very well received by the attendees. Additionally, we participated in a workshop on the shaping and working of flint tools in the Jalas area, organized and supervised by specialists in the field in collaboration with the University of Lyon.
The conference was attended by a large number of participants in Jordanian projects, namely: the Khashabiyah project, the Khraisan project, the Ba'jah and Basta project, the Wadi Finan project, the Ain Ghazal project, and the Shabika project.
